Position Paper 1:
France 24: Online News France 24 launched in October of 2006 and is owned by the french government. They broadcast and publish stories in four different languages including French, English, Spanish, and Arabic. Their website when you launch pulls up top stories with full coverage and a list of clickable links to live news. It breaks it down into by the hour coverage to give users a full experience. For example I've included a direct screenshot from their home screen to show their timeline of events. The special coverage the site is covering is "France holds national day of mourning, final memorial service for Chirac " with live videos and updates. The site also created a web document showing the world of Jacques Chirac with loads of interactivity. It has links to all of his work with different places around the globe like Europe, the Middle east, the pacific, Africa, etc... They also covered when the Prime minister came and visited their studio in December of 2006...
